Episode #129 Gavin Byrne Kerryway Ultra 2020 Winner TDS 31st Place

Quite a few things happening since we last talked, Karel Sabbe knocked out 75 loops at Big Dogs Backyard Ultra smashing Johan Steene’s record, the Garmin Skyline was cancelled on the weekend and we edge closer and closer towards another total lock down.

Luckily the Kerryway Ultra went ahead and our next guest managed to crawl his way to first place after his A race UTMB was cancelled, as amazing as this was I didn’t want to go past his UTMB TDS 31^st place from 2019 which was a mind blowing result on one of the most technical races on the world circuit.

Numerous accolades to his name such as the Wicklow Way Course Record holder, 2nd fasted Denis Rankin Round, Sub 3 marathoner and Irish Trail Runner.
